i. Find a place you have never been to using, Google Maps

There are over 1 billion monthly users of Google Maps worldwide.

Google Maps is a web mapping platform that offers route planning for traveling by foot, car, bike, and public transportation. It has other features too.

With Google Maps, you get to go to places you have never been to without dropping a single sweat. Here is how:

1. Open the Google Maps app on your Android device, iPhone, or PC.
2. Search Google Maps for the place you are going to in the search bar.

3. Click or tap on the desired place provided to you from the search results. You will see an image showing the place and some other information.

4. Click or tap on Directions and you will be presented with route options. You choose the best one for yourself. You can also send the route plan to your device from your PC.

5. Follow the routes given to you and you will arrive to your destination. On mobile devices, you are given the navigation option where Google Assistant tells you where to turn from, how far you should go before making a right or left, etc.

ii. Find a place you have never been to, using Bing Maps

Bing maps does the same things Google Maps does. One of the differences is that Google Maps is made by Google, whereas Bing is made by Microsoft.

To find a new place using Bing Maps;

1. Open the app in your browser and search for the place you want directions to.

2. Tap or click on the place you want to go to. Then select Directions.

3. Lastly, follow the directions until you reach your destination.

iii. Find a place you have never been to, using Waze

Waze is part of Google. What it does is offer satellite navigation software.

Unlike Bing Maps and Google Maps, Waze is specifically for driving. It gives you driving directions. You can get it on Google Play Store, Apple Store, and also use its desktop version.

To use Waze:

1. Open the app on your device and choose your starting point and destination.

2. You will be given alternatives of the routes based on how long it takes to get there. Pick one and follow the directions to get there.

iv) Find a place you have never been to, using Apple Maps

Apple maps provides directions and estimated times of arrival for driving, walking, cycling, and public transportation navigation.

It is used on watchOS, iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

To go to a place you have never been using Apple Maps on your iPhone:

1. Speak to Siri by saying “Hey Siri, give me driving directions home.” At times speaking is way more convenient than actually doing the stuff yourself.
2. Tap your destination (such as a search result in Maps or a landmark on a map), or touch and hold anywhere on the map, then tap the directions button.
3. After a suggested route shows up:

Switch to driving directions: In the event that driving is not your default mode of travel or if you’re viewing a transit map, tap the Drive button to see a suggested driving route.

5. You can see a route’s directions in a list: On the route card, tap the route’s estimated travel time so that the route appears at the top of the card, then tap the estimated travel time again. To share the directions, scroll to the bottom of the card, then tap Share.

6. There are other route options to choose from: You can reverse the starting point and destination, select a different starting point or destination, and more. See Select other route options.

7. Then, tap Go for the route you want.
