Windows VS MAC. MAC PCs are attractive when it comes to appearance. But when it comes to user experience, Windows PCs are easier to use.
When choosing which PC to get, it is important to know which one will work for you. I have a friend who used to use a Windows PC. His Windows PC got spoilt and he went and got a MAC. The problem is he did not know how to use a MAC, and up to date is still struggling to use his MAC PC.

Without further ado, let’s dive deeper into windows vs mac
1. Startup
MAC PCs boot very fast — restarts last more or less a minute. Logging in will usually require your alphanumeric password if you have chosen one or Touch ID.
Windows PCs boot time varies depending on the HDD or SDD. But the estimated time is between 10 seconds to 2 minutes influenced by the hardware and software of the machine. Logging in usually requires a four-digit pin or alphanumeric password, else face recognition login by looking into your webcam sends you to the desktop.
2. Customization
You can easily customize your MAC PC by switching between dark and light modes, changing font size, setting your desktop background, and so much more.
Windows on the other hand lets you take charge of a lot of customizations on the PC. Do you want to change your desktop’s hex color? You can do that. Change privacy settings, Bluetooth connections, switch between dark and light modes, etc.
3. Software
If you are familiar with Apple‘s ecosystem, then you will be familiar with apps on MAC PCs. iMessage, FaceTime, App Store, etc, all come with the MAC PC.
Windows comes with software that is tailored for customization and usability. It has settings where you can tweak things, file explorer for navigating files and folders, edge which is the default browser until you change that, etc.

4. Voice Assistant
Apple watches, iPads, and iPhones come with Siri — the virtual assistant. So do MAC PCs. Siri opens apps on your MAC, adds reminders, creates alarms, etc. on your behalf.
Windows uses Cortana as its voice-controlled virtual assistant. It manages calendar details, sets alarms and timers, searches things on the internet, etc.
5. Searching
In Finder, there is a search bar that helps you locate files. You can further view your files in list view, portrait mode, etc on your MAC PC.
Windows has a static search bar at the bottom left of the screen. You can filter displayed results by name and file type. That way you get to find what you are looking for very fast. You can additionally search for files within the file explorer.
Those are some of the differences between MAC PCs and Windows PCs.
